Dr. Olajide Okunrounmu
President/CEO
Dr. Olajide Okunrounmu is the founder Okuns Global. He is responsible for the overall strategic direction and management of Okuns Global.
He earned his B.Sc in Physiotherapy from the Prestigious University of Lagos, Nigeria in 1987. He completed his NYSC at Sokoto University Teaching Hospital as the Supervisor in Charge. He worked briefly as a staff therapist at Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, Ile-Ife, Oyo state Nigeria. He emigrated to United Kingdom- England looking forward to advance his career in 1988 from where he practiced in leading Hospitals in England including Guys, St. Charles, Orsett Hospital, etc prior to been recruited to USA in 1990.
He earned his Doctorate degree from Utica College, Utica, New York in 2014. A man of many parts, avid reader, servant leader and have knacks for helping people to reach their highest potential.
He also seats on board of few private companies and non-profit organizations too numerous to mention in USA and Nigeria. An ex- board member of Yoruba American Community and members of Chartered Society of Professional Allied to Medicine, England, American Physical Therapy Association, Nigeria Society of Physiotherapy.
He is happily Married to his college sweetheart Yemisi Okunrounmu and were both blessed with 3 wonderful children and 2 gracious grandchildren.
Mrs. Oluyemisi Okunrounmu
Vice President
Mrs. Oluyemisi Okunrounmuis responsible for evaluation and supporting all Okuns Global initiatives.
She is a trained Registered Nurse from the Prestigious Lagos University Teaching Hospital- School of Nursing since 1988. She has devoted her nursing career over the past 3 decades to the passionate care for her patients in particular the children. Her career has enabled her to work in leading hospitals, nursing homes and held managerial positions across England and USA.
She further obtained her BSN in Nursing from the University of Phoenix, Southfield, Michigan in 2013. Maria loves what she does, helping her patients reached their utmost potential.
Dr. Elizabeth Adedokun
Director
Dr Elizabeth Adedokun, PhD holds a Bachelor’s degree from central Michigan university, a master’s degree from northwestern university and a doctorate from Drexel university in marriage and family therapy. Currently Dr Adedokun is the legislative chairwoman for the Minnesota association of marriage and family therapy and is the CEO of Alafia Counseling and Consulting, LLC. Dr Adedokun works with individuals, adolescents and families. Dr Adedokun’s future hope is to see people get the best out of their relationships by being the best version of themselves.
Esther Okunrounmu
Director
Esther is a Michigan State grad with A Bachelors of Arts in Advertising and Media Management. She started her career interning for advertising agency Mother New York. After working in advertising, she shifted her interest in Recruiting and People Operations specializing in diversity, inclusion, and representation for underrepresented groups while working at digital advocacy & strategy agency Blue State in Brooklyn, NY. Esther has a passion for providing job opportunities for minorities, along with career advice and mentorship. She is currently a People & Operations Manager at Entertainment media company Barstool Sports. Esther hopes to create more diverse and equitable environments in the workforce and hopes to be a voice that speaks up for the unheard and underpaid communities of color.
Eric Okunrounmu
Director
Eric Okunrounmu attained his Bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University. His major was exercise science with a minor in psychology and a certificate in cultural/global studies. He is passionate about fitness, holistic health, and mental health advocacy with a concentration in spreading this awareness to underprivileged social groups. Aside for being a director with Okuns Global, Eric is a fitness trainer at Planet Fitness, and is building a platform on YouTube.
Gbenga Okunrounmu
Director of Operations Nigeria
Olugbenga Okunrounmu completed his tertiary education at Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun state and at Lagos Polytechnic, Lagos, Nigeria. majoring in Banking and Finance. Gbenga is also delighted in lightening up people’s faces with his knack for musical instruments and had certificates degrees from prestigious MUSON and ABRSM. He is a music Director in a Redeemed Christian Church for years and also a Music Educator at Meadow Hall School, Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria. His professional knowledge in Banking, Finance and Musical instruments makes him a most sought-after person and a great value added to Okuns Global Nigeria Investment limited as one of our directors and presently the operating Director of services for loan disbursements in our Asset Management Division.
